House of Zoukies is a dance school and community where the honesty and authenticity of being you, is as equally valued and appreciated, as is learning technique and skills.
We practice Brazilian Zouk and other Embodiment disciplines alongside conscious relating and presence. Our community is a place to relax into yourself, to inspire healthy change in your life, to nurture compassion, vitality and inspire self-empowerment.
Message from the Founder
Dance has been my path for over 15 years, with Brazilian Zouk as my deepest teacher. What began as fascination became devotion, guiding me through communities, cultures, and a deep exploration of presence, connection, and embodied awareness. For me, dance is not just technique, but a living practice of listening between bodies, energy, and the heart.
In recent years, my calling has been to weave Zouk together with embodiment, meditation, and somatic awareness. What touches me most is supporting people to feel at home in their bodies, to move with honesty, softness, and creative freedom, and to let connection arise naturally, without performance.
House of Zoukies is the living expression of this vision, a home for our community and a space where what we practice through embodied movement becomes how we live. It is a heart-centred environment for dance, connection, and self-love, where movement opens a pathway into presence, intimacy, and remembering who we are.
Core Values
Our FIRST core value at the House of Zoukies is Embodiment. The intimate practice of awakening mind and body into consciousness and presence.
Our SECOND core value is Wellbeing, the cultivation of a healthy inner-body environment that nurtures and supports our capacity for embodiment.
Through this divine embodiment of inner-wellbeing, every sensation, movement and desire is felt, transformed and expressed as one coherent and honest experience of life-force energy.
